Meeting of Lords

The Meeting of Lords is a traditional practice among the monarchies that have sovereignty over the realms. It is observed in all the remaining monarchies. Under rule of law, any member of a noble house may call the meeting in order to convene an official hearing so as to redress some grievance. The lords of each noble house, along with the king, act as a jury and arbitrators to hear and help the king deliberate the case.

Notable Meetings of Lords

• Lord Jamond 2 of Turcott convened a Meeting of Lords to stake his rightful claim to the Thunoctian Mines, but was arrested during the meeting by King Pyloff of Brant and later executed for treason, which sparked the Aerylothian Civil War.
