Rutlig was a small, family-owned company that manufactured blades. It was based in Cinder City, Ildoria. They were known for their craftsmanship, but primarily because of the reputation of the founder, a smith named Fortino Rutlig, and his descendants. The company was officially put out of business by the Black Sam plague when the last Rutlig, Mesalina Rutlig, died in 1326, but an outside apprentice named Garan Rackburn continues the legacy, though he makes the blades under his new company, Rackburn Arms.
