Wellen 15 of House Brant is the King of Aeryl. He is the only surviving member of his immediate household. He is to be succeeded by his nephew, Crownprince Falder of Brant, son of his brother, Waldor of Brant.
He is mentioned in Outrider by the rolg player, Lugo Finth.
Appearance
Wellen's most noticeable feature is his size. He is nearly 400 pounds, and the largest royal in all the houses. In addition to this, he is reputed to have a retinue of servants who carry him ten at a time on a litter, as he has difficulty walking. This is mostly rumor; as he has a mechanical chair that can change position between sitting and standing. This has earned him the secret nickname of King King, as he has the size of two people.
