Because of the havoc wrought by the Curella virus, many people starting referring to events in relation to the virus's first appearance in EE 11,322.2 (which is considered AS 0). This new epoch is referred to as "After Sam" and "Before Sam". Officially it uses the abbreviation AS and BS. The months are done with the same decimal system.
Examples
- Serika Swiftmaker was born in BS 2.
- Legion of Liberty in AS 6.
- Wuerlan conquered by Clavic Empire in AS 9.
