Errod is a separate world from Galwyndor, rich in vorsys energy. It is where the Draol mage Atury found himself after trying to escape the Great Purge through an act of magic known as a dreadgate. Some of Atury's acolytes and a number of the soldiers pursued him through the portal as well.
The most noticeable difference in Errod was that everyone seemed to be natural vorbright, unlike on Galwyndor where many were unable to use magic.
