The palanem were a race of sentient beings made by the Eldinar from pure gernafex. They were similar to nymphs or fairies, and had a strong relationship with nature, even going so far as to being overly protective of it. The creation of these prompted the Brother Gods to create races of their own, which ultimately led to the demise of the palanem.
