Helirend is the god of water and one of the original three gods created by the Creator Grellis, according to the ancient Creation Myth of the Befores. He is married to Toreliel.
Mythology
After turmoil took root amongst the gods, Helirend and his two brothers became jealous of the Inar Grellis had created. The brothers decided to each create a race of their own, and Helirend made the merfolk to rule the sea, where elves could not go.
