Proto-power is a type of high-yield energy source used to power a number of advanced technologies in both pre- and post-Curella Galwyndor. The rare, extremely dense element Byrridium is needed for proto-power to work, and because it is expensive to mine, refine, and manufacture the technology, proto-power is rare and not cost-effective.
