Satavian is the smallest and dimmest star in the constellation Luiscides. When it brightens (it is a variable star), this is said to be an omen that something dormant will awaken and cause problems. This is because Luiscides resembles a bear, and the star's brightening invokes imagery of a bear coming out of hibernation, as though awakened, bringing with it the bear's wrath.
