==History==
The coins began circulating early in the expansion campaign of the [[Clavic Empire]]. The Emperor sought to establish the currency by eliminating those of the nations he conquered. He ordered all currency from the invaded countries to be collected in exchange for Clavic '''chits''' until the coins could be melted and reminted as Clavic Gildans, thus making these new regions reliant upon the new coins and chits.
