In terms of magical energy, drenifex, or Bone Stray as the Runesworn call it, is one of the four minor essences of Grellis. It is sourced directly from earth and stone, metal, etc., which are considered to contain the bones of Grellis. It should be noted that only the Eari and schools descended from that order call it drenifex, which is named after the ancient god of earth, Drend.
