The Battle of the Venneras was a bloody battle that took place in the Vennera Mountains of mainland Ildoria sometime in the middle of the Age of Chaos. Accounts on both sides of the battles report that there was so much blood in the snow after four days of fighting, it could be seen from several leagues away. The blood resembled a red beard on one of the peaks, which is where Rosebeard Peak got its name.
